Sparkly shamrock

At school I am known for my cards. I try to make cards for my classmates’ birthdays. I now have a lot of girls who ask me to make cards for them. This was a request from a classmate for a St. Patrick’s day for her grandmother. She also bought a lovey-dovey card that had been previously made. She told me that she wanted me to use sparkles, so I tried to achieve that with Stickles over my stamped shamrock. I also used gold embossing powder with the sentiment. Here is a close up of the sentiment.

I really love how this card turned out. I have had the shamrock paper for a couple years, so it was nice to be able to use a little more of it!

Hope you enjoy! Erica

TGF Relay Day #2- Charlotte

Here is my entry for Day 2 of The Greeting Farm’s digi relay. Isn’t Charlotte the cutest? I colored 3 of them before deciding this is the one I wanted to use on the card. The patterned paper is Basic Grey Offbeat. The sentiment is brand new from Studio G and I filled in the stars with orange Stickles. I love this set because it has the words Guitar, Super, Hero, Star, Band, and Rock. I am definitely making a card that says Guitar Hero for Wade one day!

Have a great day! Enjoy! ~Erica

ASC8 Happy Birthday Cupcake

This is the the first time I have played Aly’s Sketch. She is an 11 year and watch out because she is so creative and will be on every design team and craft magazine around soon! I made this card for my friend’s birthday. I am off to her party in minutes. The image is from Basic Grey. I don’t do many images where the ink pad is the color, so when I saw this set, I really wanted to try it out. I really love how it turned out!

Well I am off to the party! Hope you enjoy! ~ Erica

Card Supplies:

  • Stamps: Basic Grey
  • Paper: DCWV, Me & My Big Ideas

Day 8…another Greeting Farm card

I LOVE Ebony! I realized that I don’t play enough with my Greeting Farms images because they are SOOOO versital and I should use them on EVERYTHING! Sketch 8 provided the perfect showcase for Ebony! I had fun using this great paper from Basic Grey and a new sentiment from Inkadinkado. Finalized by two pink gemstones courtsey of Martha Stewart!
I am leaving soon to go off to dinner with Wade and two other couples. Did I earlier say 1 couple? It changed! I get to meet a co-worker and her husband. I am also wearing black pants…which is

pretty much a first since I haven’t been at work. I was happy one pair fit. It took a couple pairs until that miracle happened, but it did happened! Off to play with chop sticks!

Princess Birthday!

Madi turned 6 a couple of days ago! Madi is my “niece.” I am an only child so I rely on my friends to have children and give me nieces and nephews! Meredith, who I have known since I was 5 has two little one. Madi was her first and I can’t believe she is 6 already. Madi is a total princess, so it was only appropriate that I used the Princess Anya image that Jacquie sent me! I colored it in with Bics, but accented it with gel pens to give it a bit of sparkle. I also added a bit of bling with Stickles on the wand. The paper is DCWV. The sentiment is The Cat’s Pajamas. I love that simple birthday sentiment. The font is great.

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Bonus card

I decided to play along with the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Bonus of build-a-card. It is a blog hop, but with each person adding an element. 1. I started with something blue…only it became my…

2. oval

3. Then I had matting with the base of the card and the image.

4. Added my stamped image. It is Dorothy from Greeting Farms that I got from Margie.

5. I added two or more colors with the red and the yellows.

6. made tabs for the corner using yellow plaid ribbon

7. Paper flowers

8. added the heart charm in the corner of the image. I thought it fit because of the Wizard of Oz theme…wanting a heart.

9. sparkly shoes and sparkle on the dress.

10. I added the sentiment “A road to a friend’s house is never long.” by The Angel Company. I put it on yellow paper…like the yellow brick road.
