Walkin on Sunshine
I love the summer. I am a bit bored, but I am still loving it. When I went shopping today and saw this BEAUTIFUL new Bo Bunny pattern paper, I had to have it. I also got the coordinating buttons and flowers and some Bassil that works with it as well. I used the sketch for Bellariffic Friday. It isn’t until next week, but I couldn’t wait to show this card off till then. Plus this card is also created for several other challenges.
- Bellariffic Friday- Sketch
- A Spoon Full of Sugar- Floral Delight
- ABC Challenges- W is for Weather
- Allsorts Challenge Blog- Lace and/or Buttons
- Crafty Ho’s- Think Bright (they deserve a big thanks because I just got my package of goodies I won from them!)
- Stampin for the Weekend- Summer/Travel
- Quirky Crafts Challenge- Summer

FHF Pop Culture #2- Sex and the City
I love Sex and the City. The show is great, the first movie is great and I already have plans to see the sequel on Friday with a friend of mine! When I figured out the Pop Culture challenge would be right before the movie’s release, I knew that had to be our challenge!
The challenge is to use inspiration from the movie. It could be a character (Check out the quiz of Which SATC character are you?), a quote, anything that says Sex and the City.
I took the quiz and I am a Carrie. I knew I had to do a shoe shopping card.
I used my shoppabella which is perfect for this card. I also wanted to use fun colors, so I pulled out my newest Cosmo Cricket paper. The sentiment is from my TPC Studio and I thought it worked well for the inspiration!
Check out Friend’s Having Fun and the rest of the Pop Culture Princesses!
Having a moment…
I had to play with this adorable Tiddly Inks image I got from Stamping Bella. I also can’t get enough of these great sentiments from The Paper Studio. I finally used these fun brads from Doodlebug Design Inc. that I got all that way back at Christmas. It seems to work well for this. I am also entering this into a lot of recent challenges. Now that school is finally over, I am trying to catchup on challenges.
- Inspirational Card Sketches: ICSketches 65 with a Color Scheme
- Cute Card Thursday: Boyz to Men
- Stampin’ for the Weekend: Card for a Male
- Stamp Something: Birthday Something
- Crazy 4 Challenges: Frogs and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails
- Cards for Men: Outdoors
- Flourishes: Make it Manly

Catch of the Day
I finally made a card! I only got through coloring the image last night before I had my date. Wade and I went to see “How to Train Your Dragon.” It was AWESOME! I loved it! It is visually beautiful and the story is good too. There was a trailer before for “Despicable Me,” and there was a part that just tickled me silly.
Yep, Wade had to deal with me saying that over and over.
Anywho….back to the card. I finally got a chance to play with “The Catch of the Day” image I bought on Stamping Bella a couple weeks ago!
I made him a red head because he reminded me of Opie and the opening scene of “The Andy Griffith Show.”
I made this card using several challenge. Here they are:
- Mojo Monday- sketch
- The Pink Elephant- Nature
- My Time to Craft Challenge- On the Spot
- Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge- Bought it Use it
- A Spoon Full of Sugar- For the Boys
- Raise the Bar- Let’s Spring for It!
- Stamptacular Sunday Challenge- Spots and Dots
Off to see Date Night with mom. Maybe the “Despicable Me” trailer will be shown again!

Smeared and Smudged member blog hop
Today is the day! It is the Smeared and Smudged member blog hop! You should have just come from Sarah’s blog! If not, you can start from the beginning at ALI’s blog!
The theme of the hop is April Fool’s! My card isn’t too foolish or tricky, but I tried to be in the spirit of Smeared and Smudged!
This is my new stamp from Stamping Bella. This isn’t what you would normally see on Smeared and Smudged, but that is why it works for April Fool’s. I just really wanted to use the new stamps and bright colors went very well with it!
Thanks for looking at the card. Make sure to keep hopping and head over to see what BLACK DRAGON has created!

Teacher cards
I can’t believe it is almost Spring Break! I have survived so far! Today was a very good day. I got two very good pieces of news. First, was early this morning when Elizabeth Dulemba emailed me and told me I would be featured in her newsletter for THIS card. The second piece of good news was that I got the part-time retail job I had been interviewing for recently! Busy, busy, but it is all worth it! I celebrated by buying a new stamp set. I will hopefully play with it tomorrow. For now, I have a card that I made for a friend. She needed thank yous for her teachers. I will be making mine….later.

Of course I pulled out teachabella by Stamping Bella! The pattern paper is Me & My Big Ideas. I used Taylor’s sketch this week as my design. Off to bed now. Hope to have some new project tomorrow!

Cinema Saturday- Clueless
I had to play along with Cinema Saturday this week. The movie is CLUELESS!
With my colored pencils, I colored in ohsoprettyabella by Stamping Bella. Isn’t she the perfect Cher?! I matched her outfit to my plaid paper (one of the requirements of the challenge). I sponged my “edges” with a light pink. I am loving the technique of distressing the inner layer of my embossed Spellbinder dies. Finally, I finished off the card with American Craft ribbon and Dew Drops.
Enjoy!~ Erica
Ball and chain
I am going to a bachlorette party tomorrow and wanted to make a card for the bride. I followed the Sketch Saturday sketch for this week.
I used Stagettabella and Here’s to You! both from Stamping Bella. The colors follow the wedding colors.
Enjoy! ~ Erica
Bellariffic Friday and 2S4Y
It’s Bellariffic Friday and the theme this week is birthday! I had several images to choose from, but I like daydreamabella! This Bo Bunny paper has been sitting in my scrap pile forever, so I thought it would be a nice background. I also followed 2 Sketches for You from this week. Enjoy! Erica
Bellariffic Friday
This week’s Bellariffic Friday topic is “Back to School.” I love my teacherbella, since I am going to be a teacher. I colored her in with my colored pencils. The patterned paper is Me & My Big Idea and of course the cardstock is DCWV. I also used a GWP from The Angel Company for the sentiment. I think this card would work for a teacher or any of my classmates, that is why I left the sentiment pretty open. Hope you enjoy!
