11th day of sketches
The Greeting Farm brought out 11th day sketch today! Here is my card: As a Kansas girl myself, I love Dorothy! I even made sure her ruby slippers sparkled. I also distressed the ebossed yellow paper. This is the first time I had used this folder and I like it! Off to make more cards!

I love The Greetings Farm! Be aware that you will be seeing a lot of this cutie couple! I played around with my Spellbinders more and here it is: The paper just kind of fell into place! Hope you like it!
Also, as this year comes to a close, I just wanted to thank all of my amazing blogger friends. You are the best. A SUPER HUGE, OME YOU ALL ARE AMAZING shout-out to the ladies at Twilight Tuesday. You fell into my life when I really need a cyber shoulder to lean on! You all are some of my closest friends and life just wouldn’t be the same without you. Thank you Tonya for asking me to fill-in and then deaming me worthy to craft with you all on a long term basis!
How is everyone ringing in the New Year (or for my Aussie friends, how did you ring in the New Year?)? Wade and I are going out with two other couples for Sushi and then I don’t know from there. I promise I will share pictures…always do!
Again, thank you all for following me through this crazy journey!
Much love, Erica

Twilight Tuesday Scrapbook Challenge: Jasper says Relax!
I decided to make a list of the things that bring me joy and inner peace! I also used tranquil colors! Here’s a close up of the list:
The title stamp is from Verve and says “Wishing you life’s greatest comforts” How fitting! Thanks Tonya! Here is what my list includes:
- Stamping/Crafting
- Shopping-mostly for craft supplies
- listening to music- current faves includ Lady Gaga, Daughtry, and Paramore
- Cafe World on Facebook
- Chocolate!!!
- Food in general
- Gilmore Girls
- reading- currently the Shifter series
- holding hands- mine fit into Wade’s perfectly
- Google Reader
I wanted the layout and everything about it to be simple. I used no patterns because sometimes my life gets to jumbled and I need to go with a clean pallet.
Inspired by P-Dub
Does everyone know P-Dub? I didn’t until about 2 weeks ago and now I wonder where she has been my whole life! Dani was one of the people who introduced me to her! She is so creative, gives good teaching ideas and as a photography school drop-out, I love her photos. She also cooks, one thing I don’t do, but she makes it look so simple that I feel like I could make some of her recipes. Well, my friend Monica is in town and we are having dinner at her parent’s house and I volunteered to be domestic for a change. I made peach cobbler. It is my go to because it is super easy and I have made it enough that I feel confident about it. So while I made it, I documented it! My friends always joke about me taking pictures of the food, so they will enjoy this! The peaches in the pan…

plopping on the peaches
Even Chocolate questioned why I was in the kitchen without the microwave running…then she found some of the topping on the floor and ignored me!
The finished cobbler is currently cooling . The recipe is on the side of a Jiffy White Cake mix and it is called Fruit Magic. I have made cherry and blueberry before. You can add walnuts too if you feel like it, but for peach, I left them out! I usually top it with Cool-whip, but another guest got some ice cream! I promise, there will be more picture of our dinner.
Off to make my scrapbook page for this week’s Twilight Tuesday Scrapbook challenge!
Inspired by 2 Sketches 4 You & my Christmas present
I am playing with more sketches. This time I used 2 Sketches 4 You from today.I got the color inspiration for this card from my Christmas gift. I am in love with Jared Allen. Don’t worry, Wade’s cool with it! He used to play for the Chiefs and he moved to Minnesota 3 days after I got his Chief’s jersey. So I was in need of his Minnesota jersey and I got it for Christmas!
So I had to use the gold, purple and white as my inspiration. I love my jersey! I have a dinner to attend tonight and the Vikings are playing, so I am trying to decide if I just wear the jersey or put on normal clothes. My friends know me, so I think they expect nothing less than me in the jersey.
Have a great day!

Happy New Year!
Crazy 4 Challenges has an awesome sketch this week and I decided to play along during my card making marathon today! This darling image is FREE at The Greeting Farms blog! I had been looking for the vellum paper and finally found it in my stack. I have honestly had that paper for over 5 years and am so happy to finally use it! The sentiment is new from Inkadinkado! Enjoy!
