That’s hot…if I do say so myself. I used Mojo Monday Week #67 sketch. Here it is.

I love these sketches. Julee makes such fun sketches. I used my new Parisbella stamp by Stamping Bella. I colored her in with Bics and Zigs. The paper is DCVW and My Mind’s Eye. The brad is from Spare-parts. I didn’t have the right sentiments with this card, so I didn’t put one one there yet.

So my brain is frozen, very much like outside right now. I needed inspiration, like always and turned to Amy’s previous sketches. See I made the mistake of cutting out my stamped bella images without having a plan in mind. Also, I am again housesitting, so I have a limited amount of cutting tools right now except for my straight edge and a couple punches. Since Amy uses a lot of Bella’s, several of her sketches are Bella appropriate as far as size. So here was her Friday Sketch 41

Here is my interpretation.

First I must apologize because I used a wood background, but I don’t have my setup here to take the photos. I do have to say that my new camera is taking wonderful pictures though.
I used Surprisabella with hat for this card, colored it in with my Bics. CS is DCWV and PP is My Mind’s Eye. Sentiment is from Inkadinkado and the ribbon is Simply Grosgrain I got from JoAnn’s. I will say that it doesn’t look as off color as the CS in real life. It is just a little brighter.

I know, it is sad for me. There was a challenge posted on Splitcoast to be inspired by this.

So this is what I created.

The image is from the lot I got on eBay the other day. It is a Hampton Arts image. I love the embellishment I got by Spare-parts.

Now a none stamping rant. I have to say that I am a little miffed. My boyfriend and I of 2 years broke up 9 months ago. I moved out of the town I was living in, but I still work there. It is about a 30 mile commute, which really sucks in the winter.

Anyways, because I live a ways a way, I don’t hang out and play poker anymore like I used to a couple evenings a week. Well I am in town housesitting, so I decided to go see my “friends” at poker. Like I said, it has been 9 months. I had someone come up to me and tell me how great I looked now and how they never liked my ex. While I still have hard feelings about the relationship, I did love him and I spent a long time with him. It is not my place to bad mouth him in front of these people, even if they start it. I am trying to take the high-road. But when someone tells you how great you look now, don’t you feel like what they are saying is how crappy you looked before. And by him telling me how he never liked him, which seems to be a big consensus of people, they are telling me I made a stupid decision for 2 plus years. I know people are just trying to cheer me up, but it has been 9 months, I don’t need cheering. Part of the reason I think people are telling me I look better is because I am happier and smile a lot more.

Here is yet another card I made featuring my new bellas. This one is so me. I love to shop. It started off being for Taylor’s sketch, but the dimensions just didn’t work. I will have to do something else for that.

The cs is DCWV and the pp is Basic Grey. The bella is emmybella and the sentiment is Inkadinkado. The brads are Basic Grey and I used lime green stickles on the purse.

I made this Bella card for a friend of mine that just lost a family member. I used the sketch from SC208 at SCS. Here is the sketch.

I did flip it so that is vertical not horizontal because of the bella I wanted to use.

I used billboardabella by Stamping Bella. The flowers and buttons are from Making Memories Blossoms & Buttons collection. This one is Lemonade. I got it last night at Hobby Lobby since I was using the gc my friend got me for Christmas/taking her family holiday photos. I bought three of the 4 sets yesterday and had the other set for about 6 months now. I haven’t utilized them like I should, but now I can mix and match them and you will probably be sick of seeing them.

I am going to be making a lot more cards today, if the dogs let me. The reason…

This is ice hanging off an awning of a porch. It was not like this 2 hours ago. I hate to see what the roads are like. I ordered Pizza Hut for lunch. I got the pasta and a pizza so that I won’t have to cook for 3 or 4 days. So now I don’t have to leave the house until Monday when I have to go to work.

Another Bella! This is the limited edition billybootabella by Stamping Bella. The sentiment is Tag Tidbits by The Angel Company. The ribbon is Making Memories. All the paper except for the white CS is DCWV. The white CS is from paper reflections. Ofcourse I used my Bic Mark-its to color it in. I got Martha Stewart floral border punch for Christmas as well. I am an only child, so even though I am older now, I still get spoiled, so you will probably being seeing a lot of things I got for Christmas for a while.

I hope eveyone had a wonderful Christmas or whatever holiday you may celebrate. Sorry for it taking SO long for me to post but with finals, work and the holidays, things have been a little crazy. Plus, I have some great news. I am in love…with my new bella stamps. I just got them for Christmas. I asked my parents for them, and low and behold they got me 9 new bellas. All of my new bellas fit me perfectly. I love them. Also, I got a new camera, which takes such better pictures then my mom’s camera, which I had been using.

The image is ohsoprettybella from Stamping Bella. I used my Bic Mark-its to color the image. The flower brad in her hair is a Spare-parts embellishment from Paper Studio. The paper is My Mind’s Eye except for the brown paper in the background, which is Basic Grey Sultry. You will be seeing a lot of Bellas in the next couple of days. I am going to be making a bunch of cards today. I was actually going to do that until I realized I should keep them organized and upload what I have. I love the feature where I can choose when it gets posted, so I will have several coming up in the next couple of days. Check them out and let me know what you think.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I went on eBay last Friday and bought a lot of stamps from Steve_Hampton, which happens to be the eBay store of Hampton Arts. I got a lot of 100 stamps plus a free gift for a very good price. I recieved the stamps yesterday, so I plan on playing with those as well. I don’t know the names of any of them, but there are some great stamps in there. I am really excited to pull those out, but the Bellas get my attention first.

So I was checking out the challenges from Splitcoaststamper’s Virtual Stamp Night yesterday and guess what…I made the Stars of the Cabaret list with a card I made during the Mini VSN. Here is the card I made. I don’t know how many cards were entered, but I just couldn’t believe that these stamps that I had for literally 2 years and had never pulled out until then created such a wonderful card. It is amazing what happens when you overlook something. I am ready to take a deeper look at my supplies and see what else I can create from those items I have been neglecting.

If you have read my profile, you will know that I am a student. Well, it is finals time, so I have been busy wrapping up all of my class work. I am done on Friday. YEAH! I also have been working on some Christmas cards for a friend of mine. Of course mine aren’t done. I promise I will post some new cards very soon.
