Cravabella

Using My Mind’s Eye paper, my Cravabella stamp, Pea in the Pod G Stamp sentiment, Bic Markers and some ribbon this is my creation for OCC’s sketch challenge.
The teal I used is called Tranquil Teal, which I find to be a perfect fit for this image. Tranquility before the insanity.
I have posted several cards today, so sorry for the real quick post, but I am exhausted and I have a very busy 3 days ahead of me. Hopefully I will be able to post before Thanksgiving. If I don’t, Happy Thanksgiving.

My newest fluffles

Michael’s had a sale today so my mom and I went there to find more Christmas decorations. I also happened to find an adorable Fluffles stamp. I have really wanted this one since I saw it on

the Stampendous website. When I saw it on the shelf at Michael’s, I couldn’t pass it up, plus I got it for 40% off. Well I couldn’t wait to use my new Full Fluffles stamp and use Beate’s weekend sketch. Here is what I came up with.
I love Full Fluffles! Isn’t he adorable. I also love that it doesn’t say happy birthday, so you can use it as just because card too. This so fits my mom!
I used Black Memories Ink and pink Child Safe stamp pad. I colored the image in with Bic Mark-Its and N95 Tombo to shade. The string is Making Memories and the paper is from the same 5 year old pack as the last paper I used. The balloon stamp is from TAC. I have no idea what the set is called. I got it from a friend’s garage sale when she was “downsizing” aka making room for new stamps.
Hope you enjoy!

TCP and Taylor’s challenges

Here is the card that I made for both Taylor’s Cupcake Challenge and TCP Tuesday.
The patterned paper is from a pack I have probably had for 5 years, cardstock is Paper Reflections, stamps are all TCP. I love these birthday sets. The ink is Memories and Child Safe (yes that is the brand. I got it when I first started stamping. It is cheap but they work great!) The circles were punched with my CM large circle punch. I really need the small one now. I used Bics Mark-It markers to color in the cakes. And of course, I used Lime Green, Silver, Xmas Red, and Fruit Punch Stickles. Hope you enjoy!

Spabella

I decided to participate in the Bella Sketch challenge. If you don’t have any bellas, get them! I love my bellas. I only have 4 bellas and I can’t wait to get more. The only problem is that I can’t choose between all the amazing images.
Here is my card.

I used some paper scraps that I have, American crafts ribbon, Spabella, Bic Mark-it Markers. Hope you enjoy.

Baby blessings

Is it just me or is anyone else being surrounded by pregnant women? Here is a baby girl card I made using Julee’s Mojo Monday sketch. Here is her sketch….

awesome isn’t it?! Here is my interpretation.

I used My Mind’s Eye paper and Basic Gray’s sultry collection, dollar Giraffe Stamp from I believe Imaginisce, and the sentiment is TAC.
Also, as you can see, I bought myself a plate stand. I have done a lot of shopping in the last two days, and that is the only thing I bought for stamping. I know, I am surprised too. I have been Christmas shopping. Not only gifts, but for decorations. My ex destroyed most of my decorations last year, not due to being mad but because he just didn’t take care of them when he took the decorations down…in March. My mom does all of the decorating around the house so I wanted a place of my own. So I have decided that I am going to deck the halls in my office. I bought a 6 foot tree for my office. Crazy huh? It is pretty skinny and I am going to be able to move a chair and fit it in. I also got garland, lights and bulbs. I am not decorating in traditional colors but in very bright colors. Three years ago my mom made this awesome wreath that has a bright theme too it and that is going to be the centerpiece of my decorations. Have to love 50% off all ornaments at Hobby Lobby. I bought 6 boxes of ornaments. When it all gets decorated, I will post some photos.
I wish I still had photos from my first radio job. We decided that we needed a Christmas tree in our office, so we decorated the fake tree with ANYTHING we could find. We even had the hockey Mr. Potato Head standing guard at the base of the tree. I loved that tree. Please share your best Christmas tree memory.
Feeling the Christmas spirit, Erica

Non-stamping help

I am doing a project for class and could really use some help. The project is on childhood vaccinations. Will you please fill out this VERY quick survey so that my group can collect some data. Thank you for all of your help.

new favorite card!

I love Julee and I especially loved her sketch for this week. For some odd reason I was unable to post the sketch, I hate computers. But that gives you more reason to check out her blog! Here is my card.

The stamp is The Cat’s Pajamas, I used my 3 inch scallop punch and my coluzzle for the inside circle. The paper is S.E.I. The ribbon is all C.M. Offray and the buttons are Making Memories. I colored in the image with Tombos and Bic Mart-Its. I also used Stickles, surprise, surprise. Hope you enjoy.

Weekend Sketch Challenge

I told you I stamped a lot of these this weekend. I tried out Beate’s Weekend Sketch. Here is the sketch.

Here is my card.

Again I used Everyday Events by TAC, Making Memories silver paper, Bic Markers, Tombo gray, and snowflake brads.

Pumpkin!

Before I start this, I have to give someone a lot of thanks and credit. Lisa Graves was the first person to comment on one of my cards. I was checking out her blogs and saw all of the sketch challenges that she participated in. I didn’t even realize how many there were out there! I have started trying to participate in more of them. I love using the challenges to see how I can interpret it. Here is another challenge that Lisa led me to
Here is Jen Del Muro’s challenge for this week (11/15/08). Here is the sketch.

This is what I made from it.

The main image is a Northwoods Stamp. I couldn’t even tell you where I got the leaves from. I bought them when I was 13 years old in a sampler pack that my friend told me about. The paper is DCWV and Paper Studio. I used Lime Green and Orange Peel Stickles on the main image. The circles were cut with my CM circle punch.
Hope you enjoy!

Taylor’s Cupcake Challenge

Well, ofcourse I had to participate this week in Taylor’s Cupcake Challenge. If you have not checked out her blog, DO IT. The cards she makes is amazing and she has her own line of adorable stamps. Here is her sketch.
I couldn’t just make one. I felt like the first one I made had too small of a main image for this layout, so I made a second one.

The first one uses Everyday Events from TAC, My Mind’s Eye paper, EK Sucess colored pencils, and Spare Parts brads.
The second uses K & Company paper, Winobella from Stamping Bella, the sentiment is from Tag Tidbits by TAC, and the emblems on the squares are from Vintage Lace by Sassafrass Lass. I used part of the Vintage lace with Versamark and clear embossing powder.
Hope you enjoy!
